good controller except no amiibo reader
Just to compare, i do have a nintendo pro controller which works great, i use that with my oled switch, but since i have already installed most of my games on my original switch, i bought this controller for that. What i did was buy a generic black pro controller clone, but not sure if it's the internal battery, but after it pairs, only about 30 minutes playing and it loses it's connection which i think is because the battery is starting to lose it's strength. This controller is a licensed product, so you can tell when you get it that the quality looks great. This clear one especially looks good with the adjustable led lights/colors ;or just leave it to fade in and out of different colors. It is pretty bright, but i dont mind it at all. At th;e USB plug, there is a button that lets you pair easily. Once the controller is registered to the switch, it usually can connect with just alternating pressing the top right and top left trigger ;buttons like you would with a normal pro controller. Home button and +- works the same and the joysticks feel good and did not drift or anything weird like maybe some cheaper controllers ;might do. There is a sequence you can do to recalibrate all the controls so that's pretty good if it ever does drift. It comes with a normal USB rectangular end plug to usb-c for the controller side. Th4 instructions inside only has a QR code to look up the instructions but you dont really need them as you just need to put your switch on that page which shows paired controllers and press that pairing button, then press the l/r buttons to pair. You can tell when the controller is paired as the leds come on when it's paired and stays dark if not. Anyways, it's a solid controller for slightly lmore then half the price of a real pro controller, totally worth it. If i run into qny trouble will post here but so far it's been a great controller.Update: i ran into one problem lol, it doesn't read NFC, so no amiibo's for like totk or echoes of wisdom, too bad, or this would be a perfect controller.

Better than the Official Nintendo Pro Controller
I bought my switch in 2020 and bought this controller in 2021 after the official pro controller I bought with the system started drifting (for those who don’t know what that is, basically the controller's joystick was no longer responding accurately to my input). Although the top 4 small bottoms are differently mapped than they are on the official pro controller (the home and the ‘+’ button are switched, and the screenshot and the ‘-‘ button are switched), this controller is MUCH more comfortable the official Pro controller. After 30 minutes of playing a game like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, my fingers start to hurt and get frictions burns with the official controller, but this controller has a softer, less bulky feel to it that gives me no discomfort even when playing more “physically demanding” games like Xenoverse for hours. I mainly bought this controller for Fortnite for the extra map able buttons on the back (there’s 2), and has significantly better gyro functionality than the official controller. And considering I’ve bought two other Amazon controllers for their LED capabilities (which were absolute garbage), I can happily say that compared to other LES switch controllers out there that this one is actually FUNCTIONAL and looks amazing when playing. There’s a bit of learning curve for getting used to mapping new buttons, but changing the colors on the controller is easy. The battery life on this thing is also amazing, It’s never died on me and I only really charge it when I remember to like every week. Considering this is about $25 cheaper than the official pro controller, and I haven’t experienced any drift in the two years I had it (I bought a second controller since my older one started making an annoying clicking sound that wouldn’t budge even with WD40), this was soooo worth it. Definitely got all the value for my bucks!

Pretty control that lights up! (but a little difficult to charge)
I would give it a 5/5 but it does not fit the official Nintendo JoyCon/controller charger. You can't lose the charging wire that came with it as the plug is deep in the controller and the entrance is not wide enough for standard USB mini cords :(It looks great though and I am still happy I bought it.

Awesome Controller
This controller is amazing! The prismatic RGB lighting gives it such a unique and fun look — it really stands out. It feels solid and comfortable in hand, with great button response and smooth motion controls. I especially love the customizable paddle buttons on the back — super helpful for faster gameplay. It's wireless, easy to sync with the Switch, and holds a solid charge. Whether you're gaming casually or competitively, this controller is worth it!

one of my favorite switch accessories
Didn't have to think to long on this one. It is beautiful. Gotta love a clear view of the mechanics with changeable LED colors. Love using it to game but I do get distracted just looking at it. Added bonus is that is Nintendo licensed which hopefully speaks to its quality. Charging cable is NOT usb-c and is fitted specifically for the slot so avoid losing it.Feels good to hold though I think maybe I am just not used to the joysticks being higher since I got used to the joycon ones. Has been great though to play without holding onto the switch.I did wish that specific instructions came with it instead of having to scan a QR code but you could probably figure it out on your own I guess. The sync button is at the top next to the usb charging port. The circular button next to the right joystick is the programming function for the lights and the back buttons. Hold the programming button and then the arrow keys to adjust the LED colors. Can't remember the other instructions off the top of my head but can find the info online from the QR code.Note: the back button piece can come off by sliding the oval underneath it in the back.
