The item had a smell and I had to send it backHere is an up date to my post The company saw my post and got in touch with me. They let me know that some of the items did have a smell and that that they had address this in controll and they are sending me a new one and will make sure that there is no smell. the service person I was in dealing with (Cream) was so helpful getting this taken care of I have not recived the new one as of yet but will update when I do The company I think we beyond to make sure I am happy I will let you know if I am they said it would take about 7 days to get it

Night and day difference between this and the stock face pad. I can now stay in the headset all night without feeling discomfort. I use the leather one for exercise and the silk one for leisure. Both work extremely well. Changing between the two pads is extremely easy, and the build quality seems to be very solid all around.

So I bought the Kiwi face replacement because let's face it, the og meta one hurts and is uncomfortable. It's like wearing jeans on your face. I couldn't decide between this and the kiwi replacement, so initially I bought the kiwi. It was hot, the nose thing was just ok but still let light in, it just wasn't what I wanted. So I bought the AMVR replacement. This!! This is what you want. Why you ask? It has cooling pads that actually keep you cool, at least where it counts. It is comfortable. That's right folks, it is more comfy than the kiwi and the original. The nose piece DOES NOT interfere or hurt my big ol nose, and it blocks light, so that's a plus. Now the bad. It might take a few adjustments and wesr to get total light blockage, not a game changer or a big complaint, but it is something that you should be aware of. Maybe because it needs to be broken in like some shoes or has to contour to your face, idk, maybe it's just me, milage may vary. It's easy to install, use, the design is light and is adjustable with the dials, so it functions like it should. Trust me, it's the one you want. No I'm not paid to review or a bot, I just tell it like it is.

Replace the factory facial interface with this; the factory one will crack on its own. My son says this one it is light years better and looks cool. I don't personally use the headset, but he is a power user and has never been happier.

This is an IMMEDIATE and substantial upgrade to my user experience in VR. So much more comfortable and fits my face better as well. Very adjustable.

I bought this because lets be honest. The Original Meta Quest 3 Faceplate is horrible and after a single hour i;t already starts to feel super uncomfortable. This one on the other hand i played for 2-3 hours straight and felt no discomfort at all. I read the other reviews before purchasing it and so i immediately swapped tot he cooling silk Gel facepad which is super soft and comfortable and had no issues. The facepads themselves are swappable via a v3elcro on the back side and on the faceplate itself. My only complaint is that when i swapped from the leatherette pad to the silk pad i couldnt quite get it to line up perfectly so it sits a bit closer to the nose than i would like. It is super easy to install in place of the original as its just a a couple clicks but it fits perfectly and you cant beat the price. The quality and sturdiness of this honestly seems like it would be on par with something that would instead cost $70-100. 10/10 and 100% recommend getting this to replace the original faceplate/pad

This was easy to install and functions well, however my order did not come with the nose piece to block the light from coming in. Missing the nose piece does allow light to get in and I feel like it does hurt the intended use.
