I tend not to write review for products, because what works for me - won't always work for other people. But I feel so strongly about this balm - if this can help someone, anyone else then I will put my story here.I developed Trichotillomania (Hair Pulling) after a very stressful period at university and have been trying to manage it for many years. The behaviour results in subconsciously ruining my beard every time I become anxious.After many of years of trying to understand why this happens, I have have learnt that when I'm stressed/anxious I like to stroke my beard in thought in an attempt to calm my thoughts. The trigger point for the pulling behaviour seems to be me finding some sort of irritation under the beard, which then leads me to focusing on one spot, then leads to finding 'odd feeling' hairs, then the pulling behaviour, to then finding more odd hairs, to the eventual bald spot and then finally the sad of process of shaving the beard off and waiting for it to all grow back and starting again.I have tried a range of things like fiddle toys, rings - trying to keep my hands busy, but they didn't always seem to work or they weren't always around.Enter Seven Potions.I have been using this product now for two months - my beard is as thick as it ever has been and it has allow me to get on top of my Trichotillomania.Why I think this product works so well for me:1) The irritation on my skin (I have very sensitive skin) and beardruff are a thing of the past.2) It has smoothed out my beard and changed the texture to the extent I am aware of when I'm stroking it and it has removed the prominence of the odd feeling hairs so it has killed the pulling behaviour.3) It smells really good and its made all natural products.I cannot recommend this product enough. If you are struggling with Trichotillomania and your beard is taking an hammering, this could just be the trick for you.

The woodland smell is strong and similar to the sap of a pine tree, I don’t find it overly unpleasant. Balm is soft and pliable at room temp and works through my medium length beard well. Doesn’t leave it feeling greasy like others I’ve tried. I don’t think the 60mg tin will last me that long and at the price tag, it’s pretty pricey! It will last as long as a standard size tin of hair styling clay used daily, but at treble the cost.

Compared to off the shelve products like Bulldog. Yep. Bulldog. This product comes nowhere near. The smell is awful and it simply does not nourish the hair like other products. Tried so hard to keep using it since it cost so much but couldn’t. So bin it went along with the same branded wax I bought. Waste of 30 odd quid.

In my quest to find something that makes my beard soft and manageable and after many an evening trawling through the internet I stumbled across this !!!!! Now beard balm isn’t cheap and although I’m not tight really if it’s food or alcohol obviously being an alpha male this stuff rocks.... it’s affordable so you don’t feel like your getting ripped off and it also smells like your a logger which is a plus it goes on easy is affordable unlike some I won’t mention makes your beard smell great feel great look great hope this helps potential buyers I’m off to pick up my takeaway after I’ve been too the off-licence of course 😉

Had been using Bulldog Beard Balm but fancied a change. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel this balm was as good. My previous balm held my beard in place by smoothing it but this balm isn’t as thick and just left my beard looking wet and shiny.

I often have a problem finding a product for my beard that doesn't leave me feeling sickly from the sweet scent; I have finally managed to find the one that is just spot on! I've only tried the woodland harmony so far, but just like a good after shave, the smell soon disappears for me but others around can indeed smell it. It's a very light forest-like smell that is very easy on the nostrils. In terms of caring for the beard and the skin underneath, so far it seems to be doing a great job. My beard looks healthier and the skin underneath feels softer. Recommended!

I bought this based on the I recently bought their hair clay. Very easy to use with very clear instructions. Stays well in the beard. Keeps it soft and shaped (use a beard comb/brush). It smells beautiful and actually, makes you feel like a new, well-groomed man.

Not sure if I received a defective lot this time but it smells nothing like the last tin of balm I bought from sevenpotions. One I received yesterday has literally no smell, the slight scent it does has I would describe as stale. Very odd and disappointing.
