There's a lot of mixed reviews on this. It seemed to work for me. Our cat was using the corner of our couch because she didn't have a scratching post. I got her a post, and then started spraying the corner of the couch with this. She immediately started using the post, and never used the couch again. I don't know how much the spray affected her, or if she just preferred the post, but it was worth it to me.

I have tried so many different deterrent sprays and this one did the trick. I can’t recommend this enough to my family and friends.I sprayed the areas my cat was scratching, such as my baby’s pack in play, my bed frame and shortly after spraying, he stopping scratching!! I was so happy because this actually worked! I sprayed the items he was scratching every other day for about a week and he doesn’t scratch those things anymore I was surprised that after a week he stopped.The sent also smells great so that’s a plus. I was skeptical about this at first because really what can make a cat stop scratching, BUT… it really does work! I have to spray it a couple of times for the cats to stop scratching my end of my bed and they’ll stop, they will actually stay out of my room all night and I get a peaceful sleep without them jumping around to feed them or anytime I move! Good purchase I made and I’m already running out so I will be ordering more spray soon!

Works well. Has kept our cats off of the barstools they kept scratching with an application every couple of days.

I bought specifically to stop cat scratching new rug. Didn’t work, on to the next. Also the ingredients are just orange peel extract, lemongrass extract and rosemary oil so you could make this spray yourself for much cheaper to see if your cats are deterred by those scents or not.

This product is amazing! Pet Repellent Spray does exactly what it says. Our cat had been scratching on the sheets at the head of our bed and on the corners of our sofa. 2 nights of spraying stopped this activity, she now walks around the sofa and goes straight to her scratching post. It does not take much of the spray to be successful. We ordered 2 bottles and have not opened the second one. We are recommending this to all of our cat owner friends.

Kitten seemed to keep away for most part 90% but was not 100% put off of it after awhile I used on my Xmas tree when she was 4 months old. Pleasant smell good price easy to use

We have a ficus tree that our cat would not leave alone. He was always in the pot and scratching at the trunk and chewing on the leaves. We started spraying this spray on it and it seems to be working. The smell is kind of strong at first, but it goes away after a few minutes. Our cat has been staying away from the tree and the spray hasn’t done any damage to the tree. I’m going to keep using it!
