EheimReeflex UV500 Sterilizer, 300-500 Litre

Well built as you would expect from Eheim, Easy to install especially if you have double taps, easy to maintain. I have had other well known makes of uv and can be a right pain to change the lamp, Eheim have made this simple and it's just two screws. This uv uses less power than most because of the reflector . Would recommend paying the extra for quality and design, make sure you get the model that fits your hose diameter, I have a 40 gallon Malawi tank with 27 fish and it keeps the water crystal clear.

It’s a bit more expensive but it’s worth the money!Easy to install and it just works!I had green cloudy water and within two days of putting this on the water was crystal clear!

Little fiddly to get integrated into the system but once in there does a stellar job

Amazing! I have tried everything to solve the algae issue I had in my aquarium, it was neon green however within 2 days of having this filter you could see the green water clear, within 4 days no green water. Yes it was another expense but it was well worth it

I had a very persistant algae bloom in my 350l tank for nearly 3 weeks until I decided to get this UV filter. It took about 48h to see the first signs of improvement, 72h I could see that something was happening and the water was cristal clear again 2 days later. I did all the water checks before and the water itself was in top condition; plently of plants all growing well; Fish were also doing well including breeding; CO system running and at good levels; regular water changes with RO water. It simply was unsightly, but this sorted it out.Another perfect Eheim product.

Used to kill algae spores & harmful bacteria in 200 litre tank. Too early to say if this is successful. Easy to set up.

I’ve trusted Eheim products for many years and have sworn by the brand name as a mark of excellence and reliability. However, after splashing out on this to add to a Brand New aquarium setup, thinking that this will stop any possibility of algae... I’ve got the dreaded green stuff sprouting up all over in under a month...!?!?I’m really disappointed, can’t see how this is clearing up other people’s tanks when it can’t even be a preventative measure on mine.I’ve bought the right size for my size of tank and running it with an Eheim filter.Unchuffed!

It really does the job. Eheim Reeflex UV500 really helps to keep water in my fish tank crystal clear. Before I always had some haziness in the water, no matter what filter/media I was using. Now water is loking crystal clear.
